General Return Policy
Most products sold by TekCheap can be returned or exchanged within 30 days from the date of your in-store purchase, or 30 days from the date your online order is delivered. The exceptions to this policy are cellular and wireless devices (details below) and non-returnable items (details below).
All products must be returned in their original packaging. The product must be in like-new condition (i.e., no signs of use), and some products can only be returned or exchanged if the packaging is unopened. Read the complete policy details below for full details.
To process a return or exchange, you will need to prove the following:
- The original receipt (invoice) from your purchase.
- The original method of payment. Payment card purchases will be refunded to the original payment card. Store credit will be given for returns with gift receipts.
- Original packaging and all items originally included by the manufacturer or by TekCheap (including manuals, accessories, gifts with purchase, bonus items, and any other included items)
- Your name, address, phone number, and signature. Valid government-issued photo ID may be requested to confirm this information.
- Refunds can take up to 15 days after product has been received by TekCheap.
Bonus, Defective Items
Returning A Bonute Item
Bonus items, or free gifts, are items that were included free with certain purchases. If you wish to return a bonus item, you will need to return both the item that you paid for and the bonus item to be eligible for a refund. Bonus items can be exchanged only if they are defective. All other terms and conditions of the TekCheap Return and Exchange Policies apply.
Returning A Defective Item
A defective item can be returned or exchanged within 30 days, and must be in its original packaging with all items originally included by the manufacturer or by TekCheap.
Product Condition Requirements
Most items can be returned or exchanged even if the box or packaging has been opened, with the exception of non-returnable items and certain items that must be unopened.
If the box or packaging is opened, the product must be in like-new condition, with no signs of use. Additional conditions apply to the following items:
- Cell phones, smartphones, wireless devices, computers (laptop and desktop), tablets, iPads, and eReaders must have all security settings disabled. See more details in the “Disabling security settings on certain devices” section below.
- Electric bikes must be returned in their original packaging.
When Will my Order Ship?
The shipping status of your order determines the estimated delivery timeframe. If the expected shipping date is beyond normal processing times, it will be noted on the product page. Additionally, the order confirmation you receive via email will display the expected shipping timeframe.
Shipping Costs
Unless otherwise specified on the product page, all shipping to Canada for our products is free and covered in the price.
Handling Time
Payment Clearance: After placing an order, the payment process begins. It typically takes between 3-5 business days for the payment to clear. This period allows for verification and security measures to protect both our customers and our business.
Warehouse Processing: Once payment has cleared, our dedicated team starts preparing your order for processing in the warehouse. This step involves carefully selecting the items, conducting quality checks, and packaging them securely. The warehouse processing stage generally takes 3-5 business days to ensure accuracy and attention to detail.
Transit Time
Shipping and Delivery: Once your order has been processed in the warehouse, it is handed over to our trusted shipping partners. The shipping time varies depending on your location, but typically, you can expect to receive your order within 3-5 business days from the date of shipment.
Taking these factors into consideration, the entire process from payment clearance to delivery to your door usually takes between 12-15 business days. We understand that prompt delivery is important, and we strive to complete each step as efficiently as possible while ensuring the security and accuracy of your order.
International Shipping
We only ship to Canada.
Shipping Methods
Our shipping methods and policy are applicable to all countries.
Orders are shipped out via Canada Logistics – Forwarder by FedEx, UPS or Canada Post.
Change of Address
We cannot change the delivery address once it is in transit. If you need to change the delivery location for your order, please contact us within 24 hours of placing your order at sales@tekcheap.com.
Order Cancelation
If you change your mind before you have received your order, we are able to accept cancellations at any time before the order has been dispatched. If an order has already been dispatched, please refer to our refund policy.
Order tracking
You will receive at least two emails for each order you place: Once you’ve placed an order, you will receive an Order Acknowledgement email to confirm your order details. Once your item ships, you will receive a Shipment Confirmation email including your order number, the carrier’s information, the date and time the order was placed, the status of the order, and package tracking numbers for items that have shipped. To track the exact location of your shipment, please use the carrier’s official website.
Damaged parcels/products
If you find a parcel is damaged in transit, please reject the parcel from the courier and contact our customer service if possible. If the parcel has been delivered without you being present, please contact customer service for next steps.

Please verify you have the correct shipping address on your order PRIOR to making payment as this is the address we will ship to.
We are not responsible for any return shipping costs if the product didn’t meet your expectations or if a wrong order was placed after the order has been shipped out.

Let me preface this review by saying that I have used a fair number of drones in the past – DJI, Air selfie, a bunch of Hubsans and an Eachine. Obviously each drone has its own purposes, advantages and disadvantages. The Hover camera is an amazing drone. I love everything about it. Its light yet strong. Its packable. The perfect thing to take on a vacation. The battery last 10 minutes, which is good enough to take some great videos and pictures. The controls are just incredible. For the follow your owner version, you don’t even need a phone. It follows you around like a puppy. The quality of the videos and pictures are excellent. Its not too noisy. The battery takes only a few minutes to recharge. It comes with 2 battery’s and one can buy more. Its perfectly safe to hold while the blades are running.
I was looking for a selfie drone that I could take with me when I am travelling. I bought the Air Selfie (selling it now, if anyone is interested). The quality of pictures on the Air selfie are very very poor. The battery last an extremely short time. By time I get to adjust it for a good angle, the battery is dead. It does not have the face recognition feature.

AWESOME!!! Definitely the most awesome drone I’ve owned so far, next to my DJI Phantom Vision+ (that is). I love how compact this thing is, how rugged it is and the long flight time. The manual controls are great, the image stabilization is great, the drone hovers on the spot.
However, like a lot of other people have said in reviews, poor lighting definitely affects the “follow me” feature… sometimes it doesn’t follow (or even track) .. but that appears to be due to lighting and shadowing, and also noticed that the “ok” hand gesture is sometimes mis-understood, turning the tracking off (and on).
One critique about the “take a selfie” hand guesture .. for some reason it doesn’t work all the time for me, but I can’t figure out why or what i’m doing wrong, and also don’t see any visual indicators from the drone, that let you know a picture was taken. So far, after the fact, I have found that sometimes a selfie was took and other times (unfortunately times when I had the family around) the selfie didn’t work .. and the moment is long gone by that point.
One last odd thing I did notice was, in some youtube reivew, the reviewer showed there was a hand gesture that would make the drone go up or down, but I’m not seeing that in the current downloadable app. Anyone have any ideas on this?

I have been researching for a beginner level drone to take photos and video but I did not want to pay $800+ for the ones already available on the market. I stumbled upon this gadget and decided to purchase. Shipping was about 3 weeks but customer service was responsive the whole time. For the price, the drone is incredible and very high quality. Battery lasts a long time and the footage it takes is unbelievable. Highly recommended

This a great drone for those who want simple setup and ease of use. The AI (Artificial Intelligence) built into it does some really wonderful things that my other drone does NOT do. I love “Owner Mode” where you can turn on the propellers, throw the drone out into the air in front of you, and it finds, follows you, and records hi-res video while acting like a faithful puppy who doesn’t leave your side (well, your behind as it follows after you start to walk away). The “auto land” function really works properly. Also, when the battery gets critically low, it will auto land right where it is. This prevents destructive crashes that would trash your drone. This is my 2nd drone and I wish I had bought it as my 1st drone. I get about 8 minutes of flight time out of the battery. That is plenty to take selfies of myself and friends or run it up high in the sky to get videos of the mountains from a difference perspective.

Amazing drone for the price, you just select the person to follow in the app and it will follow you, great wind resistance for its size. It is foldable and lightweight, nice for pictures and videos. Amazing quality on pictures and videos, amazon video wont show even half of its quality. It flies itself much better than expected, even better than the manual mode, can stand strong winds but it will lean and your videos will show tilted, can’t ask for more at this price point. This is a selfie drone, not an fpv or trick drone, it does its job, there are many different drones out there, selfie, fpv, trick, gymbal, long distance, you have to choose the one that fits your needs.
Also, you can give the altitude you want to be followed with, pictures with bird eye are amazing, everyone will ask you how you took them.
And the app has a great video editing section, very easy to use.
Only downside is battery, it comes with 2 batteries, nice fast charger, 1 hour to charge, but they last 10 minutes. For me 20 min of video is enough, will buy extra batteries if I find them under 40 dollars.
