Yes. This camera can be used indoors and is weather resistant for outdoor use. The magnetic charging cable that was included with your camera is for indoor use only. To charge your camera outside, you must use the Outdoor Magnetic Charging Cable.
Yes. The Arlo Pro 4 spotlight camera turns on in low-light settings. You can also manually turn it on or off through the Arlo Secure App.
Arlo Pro 4 cameras come with an Arlo Secure trial that allows 2K streaming and cloud recording. You can also record 2K clips to local storage with the use of an Arlo SmartHub or Base Station. When your trial expires, you will need to renew the subscription to continue 2K cloud recording.

I like the camera and the app. I am not in love with the magnetic mount. I mounted it high enough so most people can’t reach it from the ground. The problem with that is you can’t really see peoples faces. The picture is sharp. It detects people, animals and vehicles accurately. The sound recording is good. The spotlight is bright. All around great product for an incredible price.

camera is physically easy to setup. BUT; the app is very confusing and takes a lot of time and navigation to get the camera settings to meet your needs. IMO the app needs to be simplified. Other than that I am very satisfied with the camera and its ability to “scan” the front of our home…. great price even if the shipping took over 2 weeks

System does everything I wanted it to do out of the box. The setup can be a little tricky on modern devices, since it forces you to use a 2.5GHz access point. I hope they find a way to streamline that since not everyone is that techy.

Huge upgrade from what I had as security cameras. Image quality at all light levels is remarkable. Easy to install and access once installed. This is a deal as I went to best buy and it sells for $250 so it’s crazy… shipping took about 12 business days but I contacted support and they were very responsive. great camera all around and great experience

Installing a single Pro4 camera doesn’t require the addition of a base station and was an attractive feature. If we add more, we’ll have to have one. The night vision is a good bit grainy, though clear enough to distinguish objects.
Overall, we are very pleased with the camera and it’s performance.

The camera quality and picture quality is great. With motion detection turned high and lots of activity to trigger the motion the battery life drops to 4 to 5 weeks, at best. Otherwise great camera. Amazing price this is a hell of a deal! 5/5
